As I watch our favorite team, the Oakland @athletics make a run towards the playoffs this year, I feel both excitement and pain at the same time. Paul was a lifelong A’s fan for all 10 years of his life. Kids used to wonder why Paul wore so much green and gold and not Yankees or Mets.... He did it because he was my best friend in the world and we used to watch my favorite teams together and he became a true fan. Paul should be here to cheer for his team as they fight to the finish line. We should be preparing to travel to our first playoff game together. Cancer took that from us. I will watch and cheer for us both. I carry Paul in my heart and in my mind every second of every day.
