Q: What is The PaulieStrong Foundation?
A: The PaulieStrong Foundation emerged from a 10 year old boy’s wish to raise money for his doctors by selling t-shirts. Paul never got a chance to see the thousands of #PaulieStrong t-shirts have been sold and worn nationwide. The PaulieStrong Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity founded in 2016 that raises awareness and funding for childhood cancer research in partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Q: Who is Paulie?
A: Paul is the inspiration behind The PaulieStrong Foundation. Paul Ulysses Jimenez (2005-2016) was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer in October 2015. Paul passed away only 2 ½ months after his diagnosis. Paul was strong, he was funny, he was a friend to all who knew him. Paul was an amazing little boy with a heart of gold.
The PaulieStrong Foundation has raised more than $575,000 in our first 2 years and we are on our way to raising millions toward fulfilling Paul’s dream of finding less toxic treatments, and ultimately, a cure.

Through our partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Funding raised by The PaulieStrong Foundation allows doctors to continue their work in the labs, working to bring less toxic ,life saving treatments to children with cancer. This research provides hope for childhood cancer patients.

Q: What fundraising events does The PaulieStrong Foundation host?
A: Aside from participating in events such as Cycle for Survival and KidsWalk, The PaulieStrong Foundation hosts an annual Drive For a Cure Golf Outing & Fundraising Dinner. A full day event that begins with an 18 hole golf tournament and culminates with an evening fundraising dinner, complete with raffles and amazing silent auction items. Q: What else besides funding does The PaulieStrong Foundation do to help kids with cancer?
A: The PaulieStrong Foundation does more than just raise funds. Walking the floor of a pediatric cancer hospital changes you forever. In 2016, we donated 12 new ipads to the pediatric department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. These devices will help kids to take their minds off of their treatments while they fight for survival. Over the past few years we have also honored Paulie’s birthday in March with The PaulieStrong LEGO Drive For Kids With Cancer and have donated over 1,000 brand new LEGO sets to the children in treatment.
